My Story

"Hi, I’m Lucy, the founder of Lucy Sunley Equine Massage & Equestrian Services.
Horses have been the heartbeat of my life since I first started riding at eight years old. My foundation was built in the precision of riding to a high-level in Dressage and the grit of Show Jumping and Cross Country. This diverse background gave me a deep appreciation for equine biomechanics and the unique physical demands placed on horses across different disciplines.
In my late twenties, my career took a pivotal turn when I discovered my passion for racehorses. Working with Thoroughbreds as well as owning a Thoroughbred taught me everything about the 'equine athlete'—their incredible power, their sensitivity, and the vital importance of maintaining peak muscular health to prevent injury.
I founded Lucy Sunley Equine Massage to bridge the gap between performance and well-being. By combining my years in the saddle and working in bloodstock with professional massage therapy, I help horses of all breeds and vocations find relief from tension and move with greater freedom. Whether you have a retired racer, a competitive eventer, or a dressage prospect, my goal is to help your horse feel as good as they look."
